"James Cameron, aged 60 years, a pioneer lumberman of Michigan, died at his home in Central Lake first of this week. He was one of three brothers who came to Central Lake when they were young men, later starting the Cameron Lumber company and also running a general store. In late years he had given up active business and had led a retired life. One daughter, Bella, and two sons, Ralph and Allan, survive him. His wife died about four years ago. Mr. Cameron has many relatives living in different parts of the state."Parents listed on his death record were Archabald Cameron and Agnes Liddel, both born in Scotland. James was born in Canada 19 September 1845 and died May 30, 1910.
