The Conduct Of Donald

I believe Donald may be Donald Cameron in the excerpt below from the Archibald McMillan and family fonds : H-1099:

"...the conduct of Donald which you have heard before now by his brother John with whom I intended to write to you had he not left this unknown to me."

"John wished to take little Sandy along with him, but the boy himself was averse to it....".

Captain Cameron Mentioned In Letter To Dougald Cameron

Archibald McMillan and family fonds : H-1099 (transcribed):

Source

"Captain Cameron  Canadian Regiment has purchased Bart's farm near the head of the Island for 456 pounds cash.  He intends to take up his residence there soon, and I believe your father and family is to pass this year with him. Stonlia [Stronlia?] arrived here just after your departure.  He is gone on the same farm in Carrieau which Paul occupied and to remain there until he has time to look about him."

"I have had an addition to my family of a little boy since your departure.  I need not give you much news as Mrs. Cameron has frequently written to you.  She and Mrs. McMillan join me in affectionate compliments...".
