Wm. Cameron's Death


The Essex Free Press, 25 April 1924:


Mrs. A. Hannan, who visited last week at the home of her brother-in-law, Wm. Cameron, at Almonte, Mich., received word on Monday that Mr. Cameron passed away that morning.  Mr. Cameron was 67 years of age and had been ill for a long time with anaemia.  He was married to a sister of the late Chas. Hannan.

AREA PIONEER Death Claims Don Cameron

Donald Cameron, pioneer desert area realtor and land developer, died this morning in Desert Hospital.

Cameron was born in St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada, and served both the Canadian and American forces in two world wars.

He was 64 years old; came to the desert about 30 years previously; he was urged to move to California by his uncle, *Dr. Bert Wilson; Isabelle Cameron (presumed wife).
