Was Molly The Daughter Of Saloue And Wife Of Alexander Cameron?

Alexander Cameron, an Indian Agent in the Colonial South, was thought to have married a daughter (perhaps Molly) of a Cherokee Indian named Saloue (or Salouke).  SALOUE served as an officer in Oconostota's command in the Cherokee War of 1760.  He was from Estatoe where he was a chief.

From "The Works of Theodore Roosevelt Volume 9":
They were trying to capture the British agent Cameron who being married to an Indian wife dwelt in her town... .

From "Documentary history of the American Revolution consisting of letters....." edited by Robert Wilson Gibbes:

ALEXANDER CAMERON TO ANDREW M'LEAN--[Intercepted]
[Original MS]
KEOWEE, 16 Aug. 1775

Dear Andrew:--I had the pleasure of your letter by Holmes with the articles sent for MOLLY, but they were of no service, being too narrow.  Your letters by Grey or Morris I saw nothing of.

Additional information about Alexander Cameron's background can be found on the GenForum message board (Alexander Cameron (Erracht) Indian Agent).
