Duncan's parents were Allen & Mary (MacMillan) Cameron, both born in Scotland. Ellen's parents were Ewen & Bridget (Higgins) Cameron; Ewen was born in Scotland and Bridget was born in Ireland.

Edward Cameron - Oldest Roscommon (MI) Mason
The Ontonagon Herald newspaper noted in the 17 December of 1942 issue that Edward Cameron had been the oldest member of the Roscommon, MI, Masonic Lodge both in age and period of membership at the time of his death. The paper published a letter originally sent to Mary (McGinty) Cameron shortly after Mr. Cameron's death in Trout Creek, Michigan.
