Mrs. Cameron Visiting Parents In Fostoria, MI

From the Lapeer Clarion newspaper, published November 10, 1899:

Fostoria - Mrs. Cameron and daughter of Buffalo are with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Smith.

Now, the rest of the story.

The above information was scheduled to post as is.  Then Sunday, July 10th, I was doing some file maintenance on my Roscommon County, Michigan, deeds and noticed the following in my notes:

Roscommon County, Michigan, Deeds
Volume 15, Page 342
21 September 1898
Eli B. Smith and wife (Mary E.) of Fostoria, Michigan
TO
Nettie V. Cameron and John G. Cameron, wife and husband, of Buffalo, New York
Gerrish Twp., Roscommon Co., MI
Notarized in Lapeer Co., Michigan,by Norman M. Stark

What I could not accomplish via FamilySearch.org and other databases (determining the first names of the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.B. Smith and her husband) was done through a little serendipity.  Those were old (very old) notes that I pulled from a large stack of "to do" items that just happened to have an item that added to a post I had just worked on two days earlier.

Now that I know who I'm looking for (searching E.B. Smith didn't help earlier, either), the following was found:
