THE CALEDONIA SETTLEMENT

Mr. McNaughton['s]...representatives of his family now in Chatham...D. K. the well-known produce dealer, is in Detroit. Representatives in Chatham of Dugald, brother of Duncan, are Mrs. W. H. Harper and Mrs. Dan Cameron.

The first settlement on the Town Line commenced about Troy in the early twenties. "...afterwards received the name of Rushton's Corners,,, . The Camerons...on the Howard side in 1830.
