Death's Doings

From The Windsor Evening Record, 18 July 1902:

Mr. George Bartlet received a despatch this morning from his partner, Mr. Colin Macdonald, who is now in London, telling him of the death of Donald Cameron, Jr., at that place.  the deceased was a nephew and adopted son of Mr. Donald Cameron, a former well-known merchant of this city.

Interment was at Bridge of Allan, Scotland, the present address of Mr. Donald Cameron.

Mr. Macdonald states that he died of Gold Coast fever.  His occupation of mining engineer took him late various parts of Africa, such as South Africa, and the Ivory Coast (French), and no doubt in his journeyings he must have contracted the fever from which he died.
