Prove It -- Christian Cameron And The Process of Declarator Of Marriage

From the Commissariot of Edinburgh, Process of Declarator of Marriage, &--Christian Cameron, daughter of the deceased Captain Alexander Cameron of Dungallon, spouse of David Carnegie, Lord Rosehill, eldest son of George, Earl of Northesk, against the said Lord Rosehill, married at Fort William, 27 January 1767.

Apparently a Declarator of Marriage was necessary because Lord Rosehill was also married to an American actress named Margaret Cheer even though he was already married to Miss Cameron (Margaret Cheer Cameron?). David Carnegie, Lord Rosehill was an ensign in the 25th Foot; he quit the Army and went to America.
